.Gas Discharge Tube Arresters (GDT) play an important role in protecting electronic and electrical equipment from lightning, over-voltage and other power related damage. The 2026-26-C2F application field and working principle is one of the most widely used GDT technologies. This article examines the application field and working principle of 2026-26-C2F.
The application field of 2026-26-C2F is basically divided into two categories. The first category of application field includes medium, low and high voltage AC networks, particularly in places such as circuit breakers, power couplings, power transformers, lightning protection and other high-voltage equipment. The 2026-26-C2F gas diode also includes a number of components which are used to improve its performance. The first component is a spark gap which is used to protect the diode from excessive voltage and current.
