Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

An aluminum electrolytic capacitor, sometimes called an electrolytic capacitor, or simply an aluminum capacitor, is a type of electrical capacitor based on aluminum foil and an electrolyte which acts as a medium to allow current to flow through a set of opposed electrodes, forming a rectangular storage device that can hold a voltage for a limited amount of time.
