Working Principle

The working principle of the 2EZ150D10/TR8 is based on the principle of zener diode breakdown. This is the phenomenon in which, when a diode\'s reverse breakdown voltage is reached, it suddenly becomes heavily conducting. The 2EZ150D10/TR8 has two terminals, an anode (A) and a cathode (K). When a voltage is applied to the anode, the electrons in the diode are forced to move toward the anode.
