3EZ180D5/TR8--Application Field and Working Principle
Diodes - Zener - Single include 3EZ180D5/TR8, which is designed to provide high voltage accuracy and power avalanche capability in a single package. It has an application field in several areas like voltage regulation, voltage stabilization, voltage multipliers, active clamping, clipper circuits and surge protectors, whereas it can be also used for integrated circuits (ICs).
The main operation principle of the 3EZ180D5/TR8 is based on the particular bi-stable characteristic of the Zeners diode.
