It can be used in temperatures ranging from -55°C – 125°C, and offers a high level of protection against electrical noise that is up to 4.5 kV RMS. Furthermore, it also has a high surge resistance of 105 V/μA. As such, 4N35-X016 is one of the most reliable optoisolators available on the market, and it is widely used for many applications including signal transmission, control and protection of high voltages, and as a switching element.
