The 74F620P is a 5V-tolerant technology, high speed, dual, differential driver and receiver. Its construction establishes when it is used, a high degree of system directly interface and that helps cut down many cost and board space. The 74P620P device is used in automotive, industrial, cellphone, telecom and computer related groups such as logic boards, peripheral controllers, and cable testers. The 74P620P offers both low noise and high power data transmission within a wide range of applications.
The 74F620P is designed for balanced transmission lines and is suitable for driving and receiving signals in two-wire and four-wire applications. It provides differential line drivers and receivers in one 24-pin package and contains two low-impedance differential line outputs, two low-impedance differential line inputs and two low-impedance differential line receivers.
The 74P620P also provides a pair of 2-input NAND, NOR, AND OR gates for use with the differential receiver. The drivers can accept TTL or CMOS levels and can drive low or high impedances up to 400 ohms. The output driver section is capable of driving up to 15mA into each line with a maximum of 3V output high and 1.5V minimum low. The 74F620P driver and receiver are combined in one package, allowing better performance and utilization of circuit board space.
