74F646SCX is a low-power octal bus transceiver, part of the F family series of logic devices byFairchild Semiconductor. It is a logic device that is designed to transmit digital bus signals between two systems operating at different data rates and voltages. This transceiver serves as both a transmitter and a receiver by providing a layer of digital isolation between the two systems.
