A6810SLW is an advanced power management integrated circuit (PMIC) which is widely applied in power distribution switches, load drivers. It is designed to provide a solution for low side switching and adjustable current drive applications. The chip also features short-circuit protection and thermal shutdown for improved system reliability.

The A6810SLW is a 30-V, low-voltage field-effect power distribution switch (FET) controller for driving low side, synchronous rectifiers and high side switches. It is designed to provide accurate control of output power from a wide range of sources such as DC/DC converters, integrated power delivery networks and isolated power systems. In addition to providing low-side power switches and adjustable current drive, the A6810SLW also includes integrated voltage regulation, over-voltage/under-voltage protection, over-current protection, and thermal shutdown.

The A6810SLW uses a Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal generated by the MCU to control a FET which is used to drive the synchronous rectifier of a buck or boost converter. The PWM signal is generated by the MCU and is received by the A6810SLW through either its I2C interface or its Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) input pin. The low-RdsOn FET can be switched at high frequency to reduce the output ripple of the converter.

On-chip protection features can protect the system from over-voltage, over-current, and overtemperature conditions. The A6810SLW also includes an adjustable voltage regulator that can be used to provide adjustable output voltage. The A6810SLW also includes a programmable current-limit and a separate output power sequencing interface.

The A6810SLW provides a high level of control, accuracy and protection for low-side power switches and adjustable current drive applications.
