A6818EEP-T is an integrated, high-frequency and low-noise power conversion and power control chip with SOP-14 auto-fitting package. It is mainly used in PMIC (Power Management Integrated Circuit) category, like power distribution switches, load drivers and other power management components. As an important part of PMIC, A6818EEP-T determines the power electronic system’s performance and reliability, and provides high power efficiency and low power consumption solutions. It integrates a high-frequency buck-boost DC/DC regulator, a high-side/low-side input switch, a power control circuit, and a low dropout linear regulator. The buck-boost regulator output can be adjustable in the continuous range of 5V to 28V, with a maximum output current of 3A, and it provides an output current precision of ±2%. It can support up to 4 mono-directional output switch and 2 bidirectional switches with a PWM frequency of 150KHz. Also, the buck-boost regulator features a load-rejection control and overheat protection. Meanwhile, the high-side/low-side input switch can be configured as common switching, lowside switching, or split input switching for applications with dual battery input or splitrail inputs.

Apart from the power management functions of the buck-boost regulator and the high-side/low-side switch, A6818EEP-T also has two independently controllable power switches. When in use, A6818EEP-T can select the appropriate channel to achieve zero current switching and fast power mode charging. It also includes a high-precision low-dropout linear regulator for voltage regulation and limited current protection, as well as a gate driver that supports up to 5V gate drive voltage.
