AD202KN is a linear amplifier which is widely used in instrumentation, OP amps and buffer amps work. It is driven by a bipolar power supply so that both the positive and negative power rails are provided to the amplifier. The output voltage of AD202KN can be adjusted and varied according to the input signal because of its dynamic gain control feature.

AD202KN is constructed with a Class A input stage, followed by a second stage of AC-coupled transformer feedback, and then a single emitter controlled current source voltage amplifier. The transformer feedback gives the AD202KN a remarkably low noise performance and also allows for the adjustment of the input signal for proper level control. The current source provides both low output impedance and high input resolution, allowing for the use of high impedance source devices in the signal path.

The gain of AD202KN is continuously adjustable from 0 to 10 dB by using the built-in trimpot, which is located on the back panel of the device.
