The AD5689RACPZ-RL7 digital to analog converter (DAC) is a versatile, high performance device ideal for a wide variety of data acquisition applications. It is a precision, monolithic, 12-bit resolution, digital-to-analog converter (DAC) with a wide operating voltage range of 2.7 V to 5.5 V, making it suitable for a variety of data acquisition applications. The device has a single-supply configuration, allowing designers to reduce power consumption and component count in the data acquisition system.
The AD5689RACPZ-RL7\'s output range is selectable, ranging from 0V to Vref (voltage reference) up to 5.5V. The voltage reference source can be either an on-chip internal reference or an external reference input. The AD5689RACPZ-RL7 also features exceptional thermal stability, low noise, and low drift ratings.
The AD5689RACPZ-RL7 digitally selects and sets 10 different output voltage levels with a precision of 0.5% over temperature, full scale. It also has an internal ramp generator that provides adjustable slew rates, enabling optimized and automatic balancing in multiple precision output stages. Furthermore, it includes a power-down pin and a selectable power-down mode, which enables further power savings within the system.
