The AD603-EVALZ is a versatile, low noise variable gainamplifier (VGA) evaluation board from Analog Devices. It isdesgined for a wide range of applications including automotiveinfotainment systems, medical diagnostic imaging systems, andamplitronixs. The board includes an array of six variable gain amplifierswith bandwidths from 57 MHz to 1 GHz and gain of 3.2 dB to 15 dB.The board allows users to adjust each amplifier separately toexpand the system\'s dynamic range and reduce total harmonic distortion. The board also includes a variable gain amplifierwith absolute gain control for fine-tuning gain settings.
The AD603-EVALZ board operates with both single-supply anddual-supply op-amps, so customers can easily switch out for different voltage rails. The board is set up to feed a balancedsignal to a switch, with the gain of the output stage beingvariable. The board also incorporates a digital output for datalogging, as well as a USB port.
The AD603-EVALZ board uses an operational amplifier settingscheme to provide voltage gain control, adjustable within 0 dB to15 dB, with a 1 dB resolution.
