AD8221BRZ-RL is an ultra-low distortion, unity-gain stable, rail-to-rail precision instrumentation amplifier. It finds applications in fields where wide input common-mode range and small offset voltage is a must. It is a monolithic integrated circuit that is designed for low power, low noise, versatile and accurate amplification of very small signals in the presence of very large common mode signals. This IC is suitable for applications such as medical instruments, automotive applications, and test and measurement instrumentation.

The AD8221BRZ-RL has an input common-mode range that extends from 0.18V of the negative power supply to within 300mV of the positive power supply. This allows the amplifier to remain operational when an input offset voltage is present. Its extraordinarily low distortion specifications make the IC suitable for applications where low distortion and CMRR are important. The AD8221BRZ-RL also has built-in overvoltage protection circuitry that minimizes the effects of overvoltage transients on input and output signals.

The AD8221BRZ-RL operates on a single power supply over the range of 1.8V to 5.5V and features rail-to-rail output swing.
