The AD9508 evaluation board is based on the AD9517-1, a highly integrated, programmable clock synthesizer with an 8:1 VCO range. This evaluation board provides a wide range of features that make it well-suited for a variety of clock and data synchronization applications. The PCBZ evaluation and design platform is a complete development environment supporting the latest generation of digital signal processing and high-performance channel-card technologies from Texas Instruments. It provides a comprehensive suite of debugging and design tools to enable customers to fully exploit the power and flexibility of the devices.At the same time, the working principle of the AD9508/PCBZ is simple. It consists of three components: the AD9517-1 clock synthesizer, the PLL reference oscillator and the 0.01% accuracy quartz oscillator. The PLL reference oscillator is used to provide reference clock for the clock synthesizer. The quartz oscillator is used to provide high precision reference to the clock synthesizer. The AD9517-1 clock synthesizer receives the reference clock from the PLL reference oscillator and the reference from the quartz oscillator. It will then synthesize new clock signals and adjust the output frequency according to the reference. The synthesized clock signal is directly fed to the PCBZ board for further signal conditioning. The PCBZ board has a wide variety of analog input and output channels to facilitate the connection of external analog components and sensors.The AD9508/PCBZ evaluation and demonstration board provides designers a powerful platform to develop and test advanced signal processing and control applications.
