The AD9522-2-PCBZ Evaluation Board provides a straightforward means of evaluating the features of the product. It is intended for applications that require precision, stability, low jitter, and loop bandwidth customization. This evaluation board helps the user quickly optimize their application with its configuration options, zero-delay buffer clock outputs, comprehensive system clock generation and powerful features.
The board comprises two sides. The first is the mainboard, which features the AD9522-2-PCBZ device plus a MUX/ADC daughtercard and several related connectors for host control, power, analog reference, and monitoring. The AD9522-2-PCBZ can be easily configured via the on-board MUX or using the PC software provided with the AD9522-2-PCBZ. The second side is populated with 10 standards-compliant clock outputs. This evaluation board also has the capability to be programmed as a cable emulator, a fiber optic interface, and to generate control logic signals.
The AD9522-2-PCBZ device on the AD9522-2-PCBZ Evaluation Board is a next-generation clock generator for precision clocking, loop stability, and fast clock network configuration. It features key features such as low jitter performance, intelligent clock programming, comprehensive clock configuration support, single-wire programming, and system clock protection. The device is fully programmable by the host processor through a basic serial port interface.
With its various configuration and clock management features, the AD9522-2-PCBZ provides adjustable loop bandwidth, precise clock generation, and excellent jitter performance. It supports a wide variety of popular interface pairs, including LVDS and LVCMOS pairs, as well as an HDMI receiver capable of decoding TMDS signals. The AD9522-2-PCBZ is ideal for testing power supplies, analog signals, and digital systems that require a wide range of performance.
The working principle of the AD9522-2-PCBZ evaluates the different timing parameters of the interface-pairs as defined by the user.
