Working Principle
The AD9625BBPRL-2.5 is a 14-bit a/d converter. It uses a pipelined architecture to achieve a maximum sampling rate of 2.5 GSPS. The converter contains an input sampling stage, analog front end, A/D conversion stage, and digital post-processing circuit.
The input sampling stage includes an input sample and hold circuit. The input sample and hold circuit is used to capture the analog signal continuously and store it in a sample and hold capacitor for further processing. This sample and hold capacitor then charges or discharges to track the analog input voltage.
