The AD977AARSZ is an ultra-fast 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) designed for a wide variety of industrial and commercial data acquisition applications. It is capable of sampling at up to 5.1 MHz with an effective number of bits (ENOB) of 11 bits or greater. It includes an on-chip reference and is accurate to within ±0.5∘C. The AD977AARSZ provides dynamic performance in precision data acquisition systems. Its excellent signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and widely dynamic linearity (DNL) allow it to attain a high degree of accuracy even in dynamic data acquisition systems.

The wide dynamic range of the AD977AARSZ ensures a wide variety of industrial and commercial applications, ranging from automotive to medical. It is suitable for applications such as temperature and pressure measurements, strain gauge measurements, medical equipment, test and measurement applications, video imaging, automotive controls and many more. It is also ideal for multi-channel applications such as high-speed sampling systems in which multiple channels are sampled simultaneously.

The AD977AARSZ has an integrated reference voltage input and the output is fully differential.
