ADG1606BRUZ is an analog multiplexer/demultiplexer which provides a high speed single-pole double-throw (SPDT), eight-channel device. This device is designed to operate from a single power supply, either +5V or from +3.3V, with TTL logic level compatible CMOS switches. It can be used for different applications to reduce power consumption, increase reliability and improve circuit performance.The device is a monolithic analog switch containing eight single-pole double-throw (SPDT) switches. These switches have low on-resistance of 6Ω at 10V and can operate with signals up to ±15V. The input signals are TTL or CMOS compatible and the on-resistance is constant over the entire supply voltage range up to ±12V. The ADG1606BRUZ provides a fast switching times of 250ns, low switch-to-input capacitance of 0.2pF, and low source/sink leakage currents of 0.4pA.The ADG1606BRUZ can be used for a wide range of applications, including audio switching for high-quality audio designs. The device offers high-speed multiplexing and demultiplexing for audio signals, and can be used in multiple switch applications and high-speed data acquisition systems. It is also ideal for analog signal routing and control, high-speed control switching, switching in communication systems and applications.The ADG1606BRUZ is also useful in applications such as sample-and-hold circuits, where a widely varying signal must be held in the sample phase and rapidly changed in the hold phase.
