The ADG406BN is an monolithic CMOS integrated circuit featuring two single channels and two dual channels of analog multiplexer/demultiplexers that can operate either as single 4:1 or dual 2:1 analog signal multiplexers/demultiplexers. It is ideal for signal routing, signal combining, sampling or other multiplexing applications. This product is based on the CMOS process and is designed with precision integrated components to provide a low signal-to-noise ratio, high input impedance and low power dissipation.

The ADG406BN operates with a single supply voltage of 2.0V to 15V and is capable of switching an analog input of up to 3V between its four input ports. It is compatible with both CMOS and TTL logic levels and has three selectable output switching levels of 0.4V, 1.4V and 2.4V. An internal charge pump circuit and two internally configurable switches allow the ADG406BN to work with a single 5V supply and provide up to 15mA of sink current.

The ADG406BN typically consists of four multiplexers/demultiplexers and two digital control input ports. Each of the four channels can be individually selected, and the logic levels used for selection can be either active high or active low depending on the configuration.
