The ADG408BRUZ-REEL is a high performance CMOS device that is designed to provide multiplexing, demultiplexing, signal routing, signal conditioning and amplification applications when used in the system. It belongs to the interface, analog switch, multiplexer, and demultiplexer classification.
The device is an 8-channel, single-pole double-throw (SPDT) switch, each of which has a CMOS logic-controlled low on-resistance of 0.7 ohms and has a low threshold logic level for control. Furthermore, it is capable of switching signals from the μV to 12 volts range and features very low off-state leakage currents and fast switch turn off time.

This ensures that the logic level response is not affected by any transient conditions and provides a supply voltage an order of magnitude greater than the control logic voltage.
