It measures absolute pressure and differential pressure. The sensor utilizes its onboard signal conditioning, sampling, and non-linear signal conditioning to provide users a strong accuracy, power efficiency, and high precision pressure reading. This technology is ideal for use in a variety of industrial, automotive, and consumer pressure sensing application.The working principle of the ADP5201 pressure sensor combines a differential pressure transducer and an integrated digital signal processor. The differential pressure transducer (DPT) measures the difference in pressure between both sides of the sensor. This allows for the sensing of the difference in pressure between one side and atmospheric pressure, or the difference between two sides of the sensor. The resultant signal is then outputted via a digital signal which the integrated DSP uses to calculate and output a reading.The first thing the signal enters is the primary electric circuit, which amplifies the signal from the DPT. This is then sent to low-noise amplifiers for noise cancellation and further conditioning. This signal is then sent to a sample and hold amplifier. This works to convert the analog signal to digital input for the processor. The processor reads the signal and passes it through both a digital low-pass filter and a signal conditioning stage. The output of the signal conditioning stage is then sent to an analog-to-digital converter, where the signal is scaled, isolated, and converted to a digital output.The ADP5201 is a great choice for pressure sensing applications because of its accuracy, high power efficiency, and high precision readings. By utilizing its differential pressure transducer and signal conditioning stages, a reliable and precise reading is always achieved.
