RF Evaluation and Development Kits, Boards, are the foundation of today’s RF technology. They form the base of research and development for RF applications and products. The ADRF6516-EVALZ is a RF evaluation board designed and developed by Analog Devices. It integrates many of the RF components necessary to provide a complete design solution for a prototyping, or commercial products.
The ADRF6516-EVALZ evaluation board is designed to be as small as possible, yet still provide convenience and flexibility. It measures only 6.3” x 4.2” and is powered by a low voltage, single-supply, 5V source. It is powered through a standard 9V mains adapter with a USB cable. The board includes an integrated FPGA system and its related peripherals, such as flash memory, crystal oscillators and voltage regulators. There is also a 10/100Base-T Ethernet port for network communication. The ADRF6516-EVALZ evaluation board also includes a four line microcontroller, with which a user can easily and quickly program and control the digital components of the board.
