The PWM signal from the XMC-4500 controller is monitored and used to control the envelope tracking power module. The bias control circuit manages the amount of current granted to the power amplifiers to adjust the output power of the system accordingly. The transmission power amplifier operates with a fixed supply voltage obtained from the PMB8703 power supply module.

The ADRF6720-27-EVALZ Board provides several features and functions to aid in the development of high performance designs. These include: RF signal performance optimization through envelope tracking, extended debug port and generic JTAG headers for debugging and analysis, a 4G USB dongle antenna for wireless communication, and a PMB8703 power module and PMB7722-E VC-compensated power amplifier to adjust the supply voltage and transmitter amplifier.
