ADRF6620-EVALZ is an RF evaluation and development kit board used to simplify the design and testing of an RF infrastructure in automotive, industrial, consumer and communication RF applications.
The ADRF6620-EVALZ consists of two parts, the ADRF6620 integrated circuit (IC) and the evaluation board. The ADRF6620 is an integrated multi-standard transceiver, operating throughout the Sub-GHz ISM/SRD bands. It is intended to be used as a narrowband system consisting of two bands: the Industrial, Scientific and Medical (ISM) and the Short-Range Device (SRD) bands of 902-928 MHz and 862-870 MHz, respectively. The evaluation board includes a board-level MCU which is used to interface and control the ADRF6620 IC. Additionally, it also provides access to GPIO pins and additional functionality that allows the user to incorporate additional components into the design.
The basic functionality of the ADRF6620-EVALZ is to operate as a two-transmitter transceiver, allowing two signal paths to be connected between an external RF device and the antenna. The ADRF6620-EVALZ can be configured to support up to 5 receive and 5 transmit paths, each with a maximum bandwidth of 10 MHz.
