The ADUC7025BCPZ32 is a highly integrated microcontroller belonging to the embedded systems family. It has a wide range of applications and is well-suited for embedded systems, providing an effective solution for projects, requiring low power and/or advanced applications such as motor control, robotics, communications and home automation.The ADUC7025BCPZ32 is a 32-bit microcontroller based on the ARM7TDMI-S core clocked at a maximum speed of 50 MHz. It boasts 10KB of RAM and up to 80KB of flash memory. Its feature rich peripherals include a real-time clock, a 12-bit ADC, two full-duplex serial communications interface (SCI), two UARTs, two SPI, two I2C and 12 PWM outputs. It provides a wide array of integrated features that minimize external components requirements and provide design flexibility.The ADC features 10-bit resolution and up to 120 kHz sampling rate; there are 8 analog inputs provided and the main characteristics of this converter are offset, gain, and linearity errors. The RTC includes a 16-bit up/down counter, a 32-bit time clock with adjustable clock output frequency, an interrupt request output and a programmable time-stamp interrupt.The SCI is designed to offer two serial communications channels capable of transferring data at up to 25 Mbps. It provides a single-wire interface suitable for applications where limited data bandwidth or moderate data throughput is required. The SCI features a serial port interface with up to 28bits of data, multiple interrupts and a programmable data format.The UART is an asynchronous serial communication interface for connecting devices such as modems, and printers with a microcontroller. It offers an easy-to-use interface for transmitting data in either an asynchronous or synchronous mode.The SPI is a synchronous serial communication interface which provides a bus for connecting multiple devices. This bus has four signal lines, one for clock input, one for data input and two others for data output. These four lines are connected to both the master (the microcontroller) and the slave (the device being connected to the microcontroller).The I2C is a two-wire communication interface used for low-speed, short-distance serial communication. It provides a shared bidirectional data link between two or more devices and is commonly used to connect integrated circuits and circuits such as EEPROMs.The PWM outputs can be used to control motors or LEDs. The ADUC7025BCPZ32 provides 12 independent PWM outputs with a frequency up to 10 kHz. Each PWM channel has 8 bits of resolution, maximum frequency and duty cycle are programmable.The ADUC7025BCPZ32 provides a wide range of integrated features making it ideal for applications that require small size, low power and/or high performance such as motor control, robots, communications and home automation. Its feature rich peripherals, including a real-time clock, ADC, SCI, UART, SPI, I2C and 12 PWM outputs, allow for a greatly reduced external components requirements and design flexibility.
