The AK93C45BL is a non-volatile, 8-bit CMOS EEPROM that has been specifically designed for automotive applications. It’s an 8K x 8 low voltage device which is organized into 256 pages of 32 bytes each. AK93C45BL offers an extended voltage range and excellent electrical characteristics such as quicker programming, efficient memory management and data security against unintentional erasures.

The AK93C45BL also offers block write options. It is possible to write up to 32 bytes at once, and data can be securely stored in data blocks for protection against unintentional erasure. This is achieved by setting a block lock code in block locations.
