Construction

The ALS80C512MF350 is a rectangular, aluminum electrolytic SMC capacitor.Its construction consists of a cylindrical anode and a cathode in an electrolytic medium.It has a crimped top and bottom with silver-plated pins which are connected to the capacitor\'s terminals. The anode is made of aluminum layers, and the cathode consists of a metalized paper, or a reticulated or formed polypropylene dielectric paper. It also has a non-conductive, thermally conductive, and corrosion-resistant covering.The anode, electrolyte and cathode form two parallel plates surrounded by non-conductive, thermally conductive, and corrosion-resistant epoxy coating.The pins which connect the terminals of the product are also silver-plated.
