The ALS81A334QP040 is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor based on a liquid resin technology. It is composed of an aluminum foil anode, a cathode foil with electrolytic liquid resin, and a separator. The aluminum foil anode is coated with insulating film such as polyethylene terephthalate film (PET film) or polypropylene film (PP film). The aluminum foil anode and cathode are separated by a dielectric medium which could be PET or PP film. The cathode is then further coated with a layer of electrolytic liquid resin.When a DC voltage is applied between the anode and cathode, a reverse-coupled electric field is generated and charges accumulate on the liquid resin, increasing the capacitance. When the capacitance reaches its predetermined maximum value, the charge current is terminated and the capacitor is in a stable state.
