Working Principle:

The AS1907C23-T monitor the power supply at the input and provides protection for several power supply conditions when the device is in operating mode. The device monitors the Voltage and Current values of the power supply and compares them to the regulation thresholds.

When it detects an over-voltage or over-current condition, it will activate the reset signal, cutting off the power supply to the connected components. When the over-voltage or over-current are reset, the device will retract the reset signal and allow the power supply to continue.

In addition to the over-voltage and over-current protection, AS1907C23-T also offers temperature monitoring and a dropout indicator. The device has integrated temperature control logic, allowing it to detect temperature variations and take action as necessary.

The Dropout Indicator will indicate when the Voltage-Current (V-I) values are not in line with the regulation thresholds, such as when the input power supply is not correct or the device load is too high.
