The AS3PKHM3/86A is a single-phase bridge rectifier module suitable for industrial and electrical power applications, such as: air conditioner, water heater, refrigerator, automobile, and other home appliance motors. It is also suitable for efficiency improvements in power supplies, as well as circuit charging applications.The AS3PKHM3/86A is a complete, compact and highly integrated module with isolation components, including diodes, capacitors and heat sinks, all packaged into a 5mmx3mm SOIC package. It offers a very high level of efficiency with a wide operating temperature range and low power losses.The AS3PKHM3/86A features an efficient bridge rectifier structure that includes four rectifying diodes, two capacitors, a heat sink and an isolated plastic package. The four diodes are connected in a bridge configuration with the positive and negative terminals at the center. The diodes are arranged in a specific order relative to each other and their polarity so as to minimize losses and heat generation. The two capacitors improve the overall efficiency by absorbing incoming AC current and providing filtered DC output. The heat sink helps dissipate unwanted heat and reduce power losses.The rectifier bridge module works by converting alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC). The four rectifying diodes are connected in such a way that when an AC voltage is applied to the two input terminals, current will flow from the anode of one diode to the cathode of the other diode and a corresponding voltage will be developed across the bridge.
