It is widely used in communication, instrumentation, medical and home appliance equipment, industrial automation and other fields. This article will discuss the application field and working principle of AT24C02B-TSU-T.The AT24C02B-TSU-T provides a wide variety of features for serial EEPROMs, such as making it easy to store data and control information. It has an operating voltage from 1.8V to 5.5V, and has a storage cycle of more than 1 million cycles. The storage temperature range is from -40℃ to +85℃. When operating, AT24C02B-TSU-T can enter any of the above four operation states through the operation command signal “Start Condition”. The command signal “Start Condition” consists of a low-level signal lasting at least 1μs and began with a high-level signal. Depending on the device address and the direction of the data (that is, read or write), the following bytes will be sent to the device. The working of this serial EEPROM does not require clock synchronization and can be automatically detected as long as the low-level bit of the start signal is transmitted.During the control flow, the device address will be sent to the two-wire bus, and the data direction bit will be sent after the address. If the address is correct and the data direction bit is correct, the device will output an acknowledgment signal "ACK" to notify the sender and enter the data flow stage.The data flow should follow the direction of the data direction bit and the data transfer rate is controlled by the sender. The choice of the data transfer direction is not limited to the sender, which means that both the sender and the receiver can send data during the data flow.The power-down protection stage is implemented in order to prevent data corruption when the system is powered off, and it will automatically store the previous data instantly.
