The ATMEGA48-15MT1 offers a wide variety of peripherals and instruction set resources to meet the needs of many embedded applications. Some of these include a 10-bit A/D converter, two USARTs (Universal Synchronous/Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter), SPI (Serial Peripheral Interface), LCD interface, Enhanced RTC, enhanced WDT, internal EEPROM, SRAM and flash.
The AVR Core in the ATMEGA48-15MT1 performs the following primary functions: fetching instructions, programming, interrupt handling, and power saving mode.
