ATS276H-PG-B-A utilizes sensor concept of Hall effect principle, which detects the most minute changes in the flux density of the field. An in-built Hall chip is utilized as magnetic field sensing board, working as an active sensing element that generates output voltage whenever the magnetic field strength value exceed the predetermined value.

ATS276H-PG-B-A is designed to put out an NPN open-collector type output for switching of loads, motors, other applications. It can also be used in current loop or PWM applications. It carrier out the two functions of bidirectional sensing of magnetic field and switching of the loads.

The working principle of ATS276H-PG-B-A is that when the magnetic flux density (B) exceeds the “On” threshold (Bthon), the chip will output high level so that its output terminal will pull low. When the magnetic flux density (B) falls below the “Off” threshold (Bthoff), the output will not pull low and remain the status of the input level. By providing an adjustable “On” threshold that allows ATS276H-PG-B-A to detect the presence of a specific magnetic field strength and then activate the output.

ATS276H-PG-B-A shows relatively high output currents in Class A mode. It is also characterized by quick response time, low power dissipation, and precision open-drain output. With its ability to sense the magnetic field and switch the output, ATS276H-PG-B-A is the ideal solution for small and medium-sized applications.
