The 8-bit CPU has an 8-bit AVR core and operates at up to 32 MHz frequency. It has 256Kbytes of Flash memory, 4Kbytes of EEPROM, and an internal 8/16/32-bit Programmable Logic Array (PLA). The ATXMEGA256C3 also includes 10-bit 10-channel analog to digital converter (ADC), 8-channel 8-bit digital to analog converter (DAC), and 15-channel event system.The ATXMEGA256C3-MHR is designed to operate in a wide range of voltages. It has an operating range of 1.62V – 5.5V and can work in either a 3.3 V or a 5V environment. It is designed for low-power consumption and has a Power-Down mode to conserve power when not in use.
