Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are one of the most widely used electrical components. The B41505A108M2 is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor designed for use in switch mode power supplies. It features a low equivalent series resistance (ESR), high surge current capabilities and an extended lifetime.

The capacitor construction is composed of a solid aluminum foil with a passivated coating, a paperturned anode and a electrolytically formed flexible foil as the cathode. The flexible foil seals the capacitor and also provides mechanical shock protection. On the topside of the anode there is an outer layer of polyester insulation material to prevent unwanted short-circuiting.

The B41505A108M2 capacitor has an operating temperature range of -40℃ to +105℃, a voltage range of 6.3V to 63V and a capacitance range of 10µF to 220µF. It is non-polarized which means it can be connected in either direction without damaging the device. It is also highly reliable, with a capacitance tolerance of 0.1µF and an operational life of up to 2000 hours.

The capacitor has a wide range of applications including power supplies, voltage switching circuits, protection circuits and noise suppression in electric motors.
