The BAS70VV,115 is a high speed switching diode array designed for a variety of applications such as power management, circuit protection and general rectification. It is a high performance, low cost alternative to conventional rectifier bridge solutions and can be used to meet a wide range of circuit protection requirements.The array comprises of four high speed switching diodes in a single package providing enhanced reliability and space savings. It is designed to provide efficient and fast protection against current surges and reverse polarity in a wide range of applications such as automotive, telecoms and consumer electronics. The BAS70VV,115 package dimensions are extremely small making it ideal for use in high density applications where space is at a premium.The BAS70VV,115 array can be used in a variety of power management and rectification circuits. These include DC-DC converters, switchmode power supplies, battery backup systems, voltage protection and general rectification. It can also be used in combination with other devices such as metal-oxide-varistors or surge arrestors to provide enhanced protection against line transients or power surges. The BAS70VV,115 array works on a simple principle, each diode in the array conducts in the forward direction and blocks the current in the reverse direction.
