BD9611MUV-EVK-001 is an integrated DC/DC and AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS evaluation board. The board is designed specifically for evaluating BD9611MUV switching voltage regulators. It enables designers to quickly and accurately evaluate their products’ performance and get a better understanding of the operation and performance of their products.
The board is powered using a 5V/3.3V source and is configured to use floating power conversion outputs. The output voltage can be adjusted between 2.25V and 15V. The board’s input power is controlled through the PMBus by selecting a preloaded configuration suitable for the application environment and product requirements. The application and performance of the BD9611MUV system can be further studied by using the evaluation board’s adjustable feedback networks.
BD9611MUV-EVK-001 includes a collection of functions that enable a system designer to fully take advantage of all the features and capabilities of the BD9611MUV IC. It is configured so that the switching frequency and operating modes of its primary side buck regulator and secondary side CV/CC buck regulators are adjustable. It also supports a wide range of synchronous rectifiers, allowing engineers to study the impact of high efficiency synchronous rectifier solutions on their system performance.
The evaluation board features all the necessary components, except the MOSFET and inductor, to evaluate the DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS performance of the BD9611MUV. The board also supports PMBus slave interface by providing voltage, current and temperature monitor, fault signaling, power limit protection and soft-start control.
The BD9611MUV-EVK-001 is designed to provide a convenient and complete platform for designers to understand and make the best use of BD9611MUV switching voltage regulators. It also allows engineers to study the complex interactions of power system components and components layout for energy efficiency and cost optimization.
