The BMA140 is a small, low-power digital triaxial accelerometer for motion and tilt sensing applications that is developed by Bosch Sensortec. This sensor is able to detect linear acceleration in three axes. It offers acceleration ranges of ±2, 4, 8 and 16g and full scales range from ±2g to ±16g. The device also contains a temperature sensor to provide mcuh better, more accurate measurements. It has a power consumption of 3.3mA at 12 bits and 0.2μA in power-down mode.
