The BMA145-SHUTL is an evaluation system for interfacing with the high-performance Bosch Sensortec BMA145 acceleration sensor. This evaluation board allows an easy and reliable way to evaluate acceleration sensing capabilities with a wide range of applications. This solution is designed for use with automotive safety systems, monitoring/scheduling of physical activities, and gesture access control.

The BMA145-SHUTL is powered by a PSoC 5LP processor. The processor is used to manage the sensor and all external peripherals. It can also be programmed via a USB port for communication, sensor setup, and data acquisition. An external button and two LEDs are present to control various parameters or to debug issues.

The BMA145-SHUTL evaluation board features a z-axis acceleration sensor which can detect movement in a range of ±2g to ±8g.
