IntroductionEvaluation and Demonstration Boards and Kits, such as the BQ25505EVM-218, are boards and kits used to evaluate, demonstrate, and analyze the performance of Texas Instruments (TI) products. It can also be used for test and characterization of battery packs and associated electronics.Application FieldThe BQ25505EVM-218 is primarily used in the charging of Lithium-ion (Li-ion) and Lithium-ion Polymer (LiPo) rechargeable batteries. The wide input voltage range of the BQ25505 allows it to be used in a variety of applications, such as portable medical and industrial equipment, and consumer electronics.
