The BQ25060DQCR it is a high-efficiency, stand-alone linear charger IC, designed to charge a single-cell Li-ion or Li-Polymer battery, with a programmable maximum charge current. This IC with fast charge features (0.027C charge current setting capability) and fast termination charging profile adjustment capability, provides full protection and high-system flexibility with automatic recharge detection and status pin for monitoring purposes.

The BQ25060DQCR fully integrates all of the functions necessary for single-cell Li-ion chargers. This IC requires an external power FET, an optimal LED, a minimum set of external components, and a logic level voltage that varies from 1.9V to 6V. The BQ25060DQCR also provides a 4.2V output voltage with a programmable +4%/-6% accuracy.

The BQ25060DQCR uses the Packaged Cell™ architecture to enable fast charge profiles of over 0.9C, while providing full protection throughout the charge cycle. It is also equipped with an overload protection scheme, which conserves the battery life in the event of an over-current or over-voltage condition.
