The BQ27500EVM is a new evaluation module which is specifically designed to allow engineers to explore and evaluate the features of the BQ27500 battery monitor chip.
The BQ27500EVM has a wide range of applications in monitoring the charge and discharge of rechargeable battery packs. It provides precise information regarding current capacity, charge/discharge time, Over-Voltage (OV) protection, and temperature. The BQ27500EVM can provide power for a wide range of applications including smart home electronics, e-bikes, industrial control, motor control, battery packs, and Unmanned Arial Vehicle (UAV) applications.
The board includes several features that must be understood in order to use the board correctly. The first is a high-precision power management designed for Lithium Ion (Li-ion) batteries. This feature allows the board to regulate charge and discharge cycles. The second feature is a precision charge/discharge current measurement system. This system is designed to precisely measure current peak values during charge and discharge cycles. The third feature is an Over-voltage protection system which protect the boards from voltage overload during charge and discharge cycles.
