IntroductionThe BSP78HUMA1 is a power management integrated circuit (PMIC) specifically designed to provide power distribution switching, load drivers and other functionalities for a wide range of applications. This IC consists of seven load driver channels and two power distribution switches. Each channel includes a three-level voltage rating with a maximum level of 28V. The USBC power distribution switch offers the user an adjustable power range of 0.5V to 12V, while the DCVB distribution switch offers adjustable power range of 0.5V to 8V. Overview of the BSP78HUMA1 Application Field and Working PrincipleThe BSP78HUMA1 Application Field covers multiple segments, including computer and consumer electronics, automotive and industrial applications. The PD-Switch is designed to manage the power output of a given system, by controlling the power supply levels to selected connected devices. It further provides an additional regulation of VOH, VOL and Vaw that helps to maintain the optimal output levels in the system. The output voltage levels can be further adjusted to the user’s system requirements. Additionally, it also provides an adjustable power distribution switch with an accurately adjustable power range between 0.5V and 12V.In terms of its Load Drivers, BSP78HUMA1 supports a wide range of current and voltage levels from 0.6V to 3.3V with adjustable output current, enabling the user to accurately adjust the load current of each load level.
