Thyristors - TRIACs: Application Field and Working Principle
Thyristors, commonly known as TRIACs, are three-terminal devices which act as a switch in electrical circuits. These devices are widely used in a variety of applications, including variable-speed motor controls, heater control, lighting control, dimmers and other power control applications.
