BU90028NUX-TR belongs to PMIC - Voltage Regulators - DC DC Switching Regulators. It is a high-efficiency and miniaturized DC/DC step-down switching regulator, especially applicable to space-constraint system in the field such as automotive, OEM and home appliances. Working principle: BU90028NUX-TR is a non-isolated switch buck DC / DC regulator, which uses the control chip\'s high-performance power switch driving technology and the control loop technology. Its working process includes the following. Firstly, the AC power source connected to the rectifier bridge will convert the AC power source into DC power source, and then the DC source is connected to the input pin of the chip . And then it will enter into static power stage. The static power stage will switch the static power to the main chip. It is worth to mention that the static power is used to power the output and control the details of the mode.Then it will enter into the working stage. When it enters into the working stage, the power switch chip will carry the control signal generated by the main chip, and control the state of the power switch, make the power switch finished the job of circuit between the duty-cycle of charge and discharge, thus achieving the purpose of input voltage regulation. The feedback signal generated by the output voltage detection will be inputted to the main chip. The main chip will adjust the duty cycle of the power switch to realize the constant voltage output. At last, the output voltage will be regulated.
Compared with traditional linear single-terminal regulator, it has the following advantages: First, it has large output power, good stability and high efficiency; Secondly, small size, strong applicable, and it can reduce the cost of large standby power supply; Third,it also has strong temperature adaptive ability, so it can be used in a wide range of environmental conditions without additional temperature compensation and temperature protection.
