This causes the current mirror to be switched on which supplies the required voltage to the Write Bus. At the same time, a voltage on the VFR (Read Enable) pin will place the device in the read mode.The device also includes an erase protection circuit that prevents accidental erasure of data. When the device is in the read mode, the voltage on the EPR (Erase Protection) pin must remain low.
