CC1101RGPT is a radio frequency (RF) transceiver IC, designed to operate in the worldwide 868/915 MHz ISM bands. This IC simplifies design implementation and operating costs for customer applications. The CC1101RGPT IC consists of the following: two low-IF receivers, one transmitter, a baseband logic section, and an 8052 MCU with a Flash memory.

The working principle of CC1101RGPT lies in the radio-frequency (RF) transceiver. This device is composed of a low noise amplifier, RF amplifier, transmitter/receiver switch, integrated frequency synthesizer (IFS) and a digital interface. The IFS generates a reference frequency that is used to control the operating frequency of the device with a minimum of external components. Moreover, the IFS eliminates the need for manual circuit tuning.
The digital interface is used to control the operating mode and other parameters of the device. It also allows data to be transmitted and received with an FCC authorized protocol. The data is passed between the transmitter and receiver portions of the device by means of a transmission line. This transmission line is used to send data and commands to the receiver.
The low noise amplifer is used to boost the received signal. This signal is then passed to the RF amplifier for further gain.
