The CC1111F8RSPG3 RF transceiver working principle can be divided into two parts - Transmitter and Receiver. In the transmit section, the digital information is fed to the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) of the CC1xxx. After that, the signal through the data modulation block and frequency translation block is then converted to the intermediate frequency which is further up-converted and amplified to the desired radio frequency. At last, the RF signal is passed through power amplifier and transmitted through the antenna. In the Receiver chain, the RF signal is received by the antenna, then passed through the low-noise amplifier to amplify the signal. The signal then goes through the mixers and band-pass filters to demodulate and down-convert it to an intermediate frequency. The received signal then goes through several baseband processing blocks like data demodulation, equalizer and demapping before being passed to the Digital Baseband Processor.
