One such transceiver IC is the CC1310F128RGZT, a highly integrated, system-on-chip RF transceiver.The CC1310F128RGZT is a very versatile and powerful RF transceiver IC. It is designed for low power short-range wireless connectivity and is based on the TI CC1310 device. It offers a complete system-on-chip with a built-in ARM Cortex-M3 processor, as well as a range of integrated peripherals, sensors, and power management functions. The CC1310F128RGZT is well suited for applications such as Internet of Things (IoT) nodes and other short-range, low power wireless devices. It is designed to enable long battery life, flexible protocol selection, and advanced power management capabilities. The CC1310F128RGZT supports Bluetooth low energy (BLE), Sub-GHz proprietary protocols, and Zigbee protocols. It also supports the TI 15.4-Stack, a portable wireless mesh networking platform.The CC1310F128RGZT works by receiving and transmitting radio frequency (RF) signals over the air. It is powered by a high-performance 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor, which is capable of processing data up to 40Mhz, and comes with 1MB of flash memory and 128KB of RAM. The CC1310F128RGZT also features a programmable Digital Signal Processor (DSP) which is used to process digital signals such as analog-to-digital conversion, digital-to-analog conversion, digital audio and video encoding/decoding, and compression/decompression of digital data. In addition, the CC1310F128RGZT also contains various I/Os such as Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI), UART, I2C, and various analog inputs.The CC1310F128RGZT is capable of operating in both the 2.4GHz and Sub-GHz frequency bands. In the 2.4GHz band, the output power is up to +18dBm and the sensitivity can reach -103dBm. In the Sub-GHz band, the output power is up to +20dBm and the sensitivity can reach -108dBm. With its low power consumption features, the CC1310F128RGZT can provide up to 10 times longer battery life compared to other solutions. The CC1310F128RGZT is designed to provide a rich system-on-chip platform with a flexible protocol selection, advanced power management capabilities and high performance ARM Cortex-M3 processor. It is an ideal solution for low-power, short-range wireless applications and is well suited for many of today’s emerging IoT application scenarios.
