The CC2533DK-RF4CE-BA is an RFA evaluation and development kit used by engineers for projects in the radio frequency related fields. This Evaluation Kit board contains a CC2533 system-on-chip, and it is intended to be used with an 8051-based development system. The CC2533 system-on-chip is a single-chip solution designed for 2.4 GHz RF applications working in the 2.4 GHz frequency band. It incorporates a transceiver and baseband processing. CC2533 supports a wide range of digital modulation techniques, including GFSK (Gaussian Frequency-Shift Keying), 4-FSK (4-Level Frequency-Shift Keying), 2-FSK (2-Level Frequency-Shift Keying), DR-3FSK (Differential Reconstruction), and DR-2FSK (Differential Reconstruction). CC2533 also features low power radio communications and incorporates DSSS (Direct-Sequence Spread Spectrum) technology to improve the performance in multipath and interference-prone environment.
The transceiver is ideal for medium-range applications with data rates up to 500 kbps and robust, link-protected communications. In addition, CC2533 also has built-in security features such as 48-bit unique address and 256-bit AES encryption. Furthermore, the CC2533 uses a packet-based protocol to reduce the overhead of radio interconnections and also provides robust error-correcting coding which allows data rates to remain high even in error-prone environments.
